Another Way To Do 9 Square Feet

I stayed up late last night drawing this alternate design for Nine Tiny Feet. I posted the full description of this 9-square foot house plan on my primary tiny house design blog but here are more screen captures of the design. In terms of design this is a bit of a departure from previous designs but I think it has a few new features like the gray water planted soilbox and it’s more aerodynamic. I’ve been drawing some free house plans over at Tiny House Design and decided to play around with the plans for Nine Tiny Feet. I’m amazed with how much lumber is needed for such a small structure if you simply frame it like a normal house. I’m starting to consider thinking of it like a big insulated cabinet and building it with 2×4 and plywood panels. I’ll have to noodle over that more. Here’s what I have so far.
